【Activity Review | Parent-Child Stargazing Camp ✨ Exploring the Mysteries of the Starry Sky Together】
From 2 to 3 March 2024, the “Parent-Child Stargazing Camp” jointly organised by Child Cares Foundation and LP170 students came to a successful close! 🌌
Primary and secondary students from 碧匯小區, together with their parents, stepped out of the community to take part in a two-day, one-night journey under the stars, filled with learning and laughter 😍.
🌟Day 1 highlights:
- Taking a bus to 摩星嶺青年旅館
- BBQ dinner under the stars
- A professional sharing session on astronomy by the assistant curator of the Hong Kong Space Museum
- Observing constellations at night and learning about astronomical telescopes 🔭
🌞Day 2 highlights:
- An early-morning hiking trail
- Star-grade stargazing experience: making fireworks + observing the stars through telescopes
- Relaxed parent-child interaction and creating wonderful memories
- A group photo & a safe journey home
Over two days and one night, the children learned to appreciate the starry sky, explore nature and challenge themselves. Parents were also able to relax and communicate with their children during the activity, leaving unforgettable parent-child memories 💞.
