【June Psychology Month】Understand Your Inner World in 57 Seconds: Helping Children Face Exams with Confidence!

When exam season arrives, does watching your child study late into the night leave you feeling worried and anxious? Alongside studying and revision, children need strong emotional support and companionship as they prepare for exams.
In this June of challenges and achievements, Child Cares Foundation is offering a special inner-exploration activity for June Psychology Month. We recognise the profound impact that family warmth and mental wellbeing have on children.
We have invited Irisa 艾麗, who holds a PhD in Psychology, to use insightful professional psychological guidance to help children understand their underlying anxiety and sources of stress in just 57 seconds, and find the stress-relief strategies and study balance that suit them best.
Why is psychological preparation so important for children?
Children may underperform in exams not because they are unprepared, but because pre-exam anxiety overshadows their abilities. Through scientific psychological counselling and sandplay, children can release suppressed emotions in a safe setting, regain confidence and turn pressure into motivation.
🌟 How can this session offer children warmth and support?
- Focused stress relief: Each 30-minute inner-exploration session helps address emotional knots before exams.
- Professional care: Meet the founder of 香港沙探心空間 in person and explore the subconscious through professional sandplay tools.
- Community subsidy: To make the service accessible to grassroots and other families, a professional consultation normally priced at $988 per person is offered at a community promotional rate of just $150 per person!
